In today’s economy, workers need a broad understanding of the world around them. Having a global perspective means respecting diversity, and being open, inclusive, and sensitive to all people - specifically people from different cultures, races, ages, genders, political ideologies, and religions. Being globally fluent comprises the skills to interact respectfully and effectively. During this one-day conference, we will examine why an understanding of this topic is important to organizations, how it can increase your value to your organization, study cultures that many NW Arkansas organizations work with, and have a frank discussion about what works and what doesn’t when it comes to doing business.
