Rick Lockton
VP Product Mgmt - Walmart US Merchandising
The Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce and our WalStreet Program is proud to present the WalStreet Speaker Series featuring Rick Lockton. The 4th quarter session is sponsored by Valassis Digital.
Rick is currently the VP of Digital Product Management for Walmart's Merchandising organization. As a part of Walmart's digital transformation, the Merchandising Product team is re-inventing the role of the merchant. Leveraging advance analytics, with new-age technology, their tools will enable merchants to move in real time, at a hyper-local level, delivering results that are highly predicable and with minimal effort.
Rick is also a leader helping the broader Walmart team transition to a digital-first mindset and deploying agile ways of working styles across all areas of business. Rick has been with Walmart for 9 years, serving in a variety of new product and business development roles across Merchandising, Financial Services, and Real Estate. Prior to joining Wamart, he worked in various business, strategy, and technology roles at General Electric and KPMG. Rick holds a B.S. in Business and Accounting from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
