We are pleased to announce that our December 1 WalStreet Speaker Series event will be held in the Auditorium atSam’s Club Home Office. Please review the registration process below so that there are no challenges once you arrive at the venue.
Important - Due to security requirements, you will need to register each person by name (additional attendee will not be sufficient). When arriving at the venue, you will need to provide identification when picking up your security badge at check in and you will need to return your security badge before leaving so that you are properly checked out of the facility. We will be unable to do on the spot registration, so please take time to register in advance. Deadline to register is January 23rd. After this time we will not be able to accept new registrations or name changes for existing reservations.
WalStreet members remain entitled to a specific number of seats based upon your membership level; however, please note that they are seats and not tables. If you are a sponsor of this event or at a membership level that entitle you to receive 10 seats, they will be reserved. Sponsorships remain available and additional seating can be purchased through online registration. If you are interested in an additional 5 or 10 pack of seats with reserved seating, please contact Tammy Thurow at 479.273.2841 or tthurow@bbvchamber.com.
Parking location is also important. Parking for this event will be across the street or in the field. Do not park in the supplier parking as that space is reserved for suppliers doing business with Sam’s Club that day.

Description
Judith McKenna, Chief Operating Officer, Walmart U.S.
Judith McKenna is executive vice president and chief operating officer for Walmart U.S. and is responsible for the company’s U.S. store operations, including more than 4,100 retail locations. Additional responsibilities include the development of new formats as well as the Walmart Services, U.S. Asset Protection and Store Innovations organizations. She was promoted to this expanded role in December 2014.
In her prior role, Judith was chief development officer for Walmart U.S., where she led the strategy, development and growth of Walmart’s small format business and Walmart Services. She also oversaw the development of new formats and the partnership with Walmart.com to integrate digital commerce into the physical store presence.
Judith has also served as executive vice president of strategy and international development for Walmart International, a fast-growing segment of Walmart's overall operations serving 26 countries outside the U.S. There, she led several areas including international strategy, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, integration, global format development and purchase leverage.
She has also held the position of chief operating officer for Asda Stores Ltd – the largest subsidiary in Walmart International. During this time her role included leadership of retail, logistics, e-commerce and financial services. She was pivotal in the growth of Asda’s multichannel business and in making technology-enabled retail a key part of Asda’s growth strategy.
Prior to her appointment as chief operating officer, she served as Asda’s chief financial officer for more than 10 years, leading teams across finance, property and store development.
Judith is a passionate ambassador for diversity and inclusion and has previously served as chair of the President’s Global Council of Women Leaders for Walmart worldwide with responsibility for the development and leadership of Walmart’s women’s strategy across Wal-Mart Stores Inc. She is a patron of the UK’s Women in Retail and also serves as a trustee of Asda’s Tickled Pink charity, which has raised £37 million for Breast Cancer charities over the last 17 years.
Judith graduated with an honors degree in law from Hull University in England before gaining her ICAEW accounting qualification at KPMG, one of the U.K.’s leading accounting firms. In 2013 she was awarded an honorary doctorate in law from Hull University.
