Dr. Pierce received his undergraduate degree from Centre College in Danville, KY before attending the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.  In graduate school, Dr. Pierce was selected as an SCO Ambassador to promote the college and give tours to potential students, their families, and members of the community.  During his graduating year, Dr. Pierce was the recipient of the Outstanding Clinician Award voted for by the attending staff. Dr. Pierce enjoys seeing patients of all ages for comprehensive eye exams, fitting contact lenses, and managing challenging ocular diseases. He regularly supports local and national charities (Hope Cancer Resources, National MS Society, The Community Blood Center, Lions Club International, Big Brothers Big Sisters). When not seeing patients, Dr. Pierce enjoys running marathons, cheering on the Razorbacks and his home state Kentucky Wildcats, and spending time outdoors with his wife Kelly and two girls Gracie & Josie.
