Register for Native Plant Workshop & Plant Sale Join the Movement to Grow Native Plants! Learn how to grow and maintain native plants and incorporate these plants into your landscaping at the Native Plant Workshop & Plant Sale on Friday, August 12. Hosted by the Illinois River Watershed Partnership and Northwest Arkansas chapter of the Arkansas Master Naturalists, the Native Plant Workshop & Plant Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Illinois River Watershed Learning Center, 221 S. Main St. in Cave Springs. Speakers include arborist Patti Erwin of the Arkansas Forestry Commission; horticulturist Neal Mays of the Benton County Cooperative Extension Service; and Cody George, horticulturalist at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. The Plant Sale includes dozens of varieties propagated from seed and grown in Illinois River Watershed Partnership greenhouses. Cost of the workshop is $25, which includes lunch.
